RAIN STOPS THUNDER ON THE HILL SERIES SUNDAY, USAC INVADES THE HILL TUESDAY, JUNE 13

BECHTELSVILLE, PA (May 28, 2017) – Thirty-two Modifieds were signed in for action when rain began falling on the famed 1/3-mile Grandview Speedway – as a result, NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series officials were forced to cancel Sunday’s Pioneer Pole Buildings Triple Thunder Thriller event.

“Like most of the race fans, we’ve been watching the radar intently for days,” Co-Promoter Bob Miller stated. “For the past three or four days things looked promising and we were excited to get the 28th Thunder on the Hill Racing Series season started.”

Guests can use their rain checks for any future Thunder on the Hill event of equal value or they may pay the additional fee for a show of great value. The May 28 ticket will hold its’ face value.

The Thunder crew turns their focus to Tuesday, June 13th and a thrilling double-header event -- the 11th running of the Jesse Hockett Classic USAC AMSOIL Non-Wing National Sprint Car Touring Series as part of the Eastern Storm, coupled with the 358 NASCAR Modifieds. General Admission tickets for these two headline divisions are $30 for Adults, $10 for children (6-11), and Kids 5 & Under always Free.

Teams are encouraged to pre-enter by calling 443-513-4456 or by visiting thunderonthehillracingseries.com. There is NO ENTRY FEE for this special event.
