New Egypt, NJ – The 1st Annual Mr. Crate Classic for the Crate Modifieds will be held this Saturday at New Egypt Speedway. The extra distance 30-Lap feature will pay $750 to the winner. Make sure you come out and see who will be crowned king of the crates in the Mr. Crate Classic.

The Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookie Sportsman will be in the spotlight this coming Saturday June 24th at New Egypt Speedway as they will be crowning a champion and graduating into either the Hammer Sportsman or Crate Modified divisions. The final Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookie Sportsman feature will be 12 laps in distance and double-points. David Burns currently leads both Walt McIntyre and Joseph Brown who are tied for second by 34 points heading into Saturday’s finale.

The Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars, Hammer Sportsman and the Street Stocks will also be in action this weekend.

All 2017 graduates will be admitted for free with a copy of their diploma.

The grandstand and pit gates open at 4:00 p.m. Warm-ups get underway at 6:00 p.m. and racing starts at 7:00 p.m. Admission to the grandstand is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors 65 and older, $10 for teens 12-15, $10 for military personal and their spouses with ID, and kids 11 & under are FREE. Pit admission is $30 with a New Egypt Speedway license and $40 with no license.

New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike. A racy 7/16-mile D-shaped dirt oval, New Egypt Speedway serves Garden State race fans with some of the best competition in the country. The grandstands are fully wheelchair accessible with wide, clear, and well-groomed walkways.
