2007
Benny Parsons... Died ... BP drove in Winston Cup for almost 20 years and won the 1973 championship, and is the answer to a popular trivia question of who is the only driver to win championships in Cup and ARCA (1969). In 1988 he retired from driving and went straight into the TV booth, where he was a regular for ABC, ESPN, and from 2001-06 NBC; BP was the first star driver to make such a full-time career change, and he became even more loved by the public because of it. Benny died of cancer, he was 65.

Kevin Swindell won the 24th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals at the Tulsa Expo Raceway, Tulsa, OK. Cole Whitt was second followed by Sammy Swindell, Jerry Coons Jr., Chris Windom, Shane Cottle, Mike Hess, Cory Kruseman, Brad Sweet and Kyle Larson.

Richie Cass Sr.,... Died ... Richie was a fan-favorite, hard-charging driver in the dirt Sportsman/small-block Modified divisions in New Jersey. His driving career spanned from the 70's thru 2008.

Christopher Bell won the 30-lap fourth night feature of the 34th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals at the Tulsa Expo Raceway, Tulsa, OK. Thomas Meseraull finished second followed by Michael Kofoid, Logan Seavey, Shane Golobic, Spencer Bayston, CJ Leary , Jason McDougal, Jerry Coons, Jr. and Steve Buckwalter.

Kyle Larson won the 55-lap 35th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals at the Tulsa Expo Raceway, Tulsa, OK. Justin Grant finished second followed by Tanner Thorson, Cannon McIntosh, Daryn Pittman, Chris Windom, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. , Brad Sweet, Spencer Bayston and Logan Seavey.
