Les Scott won the 100 lap USAC Midget race at the Memorial Coliseum, Ft Wayne, IN. ____________________

1966

Robbie Groff... Born ... Driver in the Indy Racing League and CART Championship Car series and is brother of Mike Groff. He raced in the 1994 CART season and 1997-1998 IRL seasons with 9 combined starts. His best career finish was in his first race, a ninth place at the 1997 Indianapolis 500. ____________________

Shane Carson won the third annual Pete Folse Memorial race at the Columbia County Speedway, Ellisville, FL. Doug Wolfgang was second followed by Dub May, Rick Ferkel, Jerry Nemire, Don Mack, Jr Parkinson, Bobby Allen, Van May and Roger Rager. ____________________

Rodney Wing won the 11th annual Open Wheel Modified Winternationals Championship Stock Car race at the East Bay Raceway Park, Tampa, FL. Rick Aukland was second followed by Jared Landers, Kevin Weaver and Dave Hess Jr.

Kyle Busch won the CRA Late Model Stock Car race at the Lanier Speedway, Braselton, GA. Steven Wallace was second followed by Jeff Fultz, Bubba Pollard, Drew Brannon and Chase Elliott. ____________________
