Jim Hurtubise, driving the Kephart Offy, won the 20-lap CRA Sprint Car race over Roger McCluskey, in the Purvis Chevy, at the Imperial Mid-Winter Fair in Imperial, CA.
Joe Lee Johnson won the 100 mile NASCAR Convertible race at the State Fair Grounds, Richmond, VA. Joe Weatherly was second followed by Ken Rush, Larry Frank and Curtis Turner.
