Bill Holland won the 100 Mile AAA Indy Car race on the 1 mile dirt oval at the Milwaukee Mile, West Allis, WI. Rex Mays was second followed by Paul Russo, George Connor and Charles Van Acker.
Sam Hanks won the 25-lap CARA Midget race over Tony Bettenhausen and Ronnie Householder at the Soldier Field, Chicago, IL.

Johnnie Parsons , driving the Shaffer Gear Offy #1, won the 30-lap CARA Midget race over Sam Hanks and Johnnie Tolan before 7,000 fans at the Soldier Field, Chicago, IL.

Art Cross won the AAA Midget race at the Lafayette Stadium, Lafayette,IN

1952
Mike Nazaruk won the 100 Mile Rex Mays Classic AAA Indy Car race on the 1 mile dirt oval at the Milwaukee Mile, West Allis, WI. Paul Russo was second followed by Bill Schindler, Jim Rigsby and Jimmy Reece.
Johnny McDowell ... Died ... AAA driver from the mid 1930's to 1952. He drove Midgets and Indy Cars. McDowell competed in the 1949 to 1952 Indianapolis 500 races. He died in a qualifying crash at the Milwaukee Mile the week after the 1952 Indy 500.
Al Keller won the 100 Mile NASCAR Speedway Car race on the 1 mile dirt oval at the Lakewood Speedway, Atlanta, GA. Jack Smith was second followed by Wally Campbell, Buck Baker and Bill Miller.
Vic Carter won the AAA Midget race at the Toledo Raceway Park, Toledo,OH
Bobby Grim won the IMCA Sprint Car race at the Iowa State Fair Speedway, Des Moines, IA
Tommy Hinnershitz won the AAA Eastern Sprint Car race at the Moundsville Fairgrounds, Moundsville, WV

Larry Cannon won the USAC Sprint Car race over Bruce Walkup, Bill Puterbaugh, Lee Kunzman and Don Nordhorn at the Eldora Speedway, Rossburg, OH.
