Fred Lorenzen won the 300 Mile USAC Stock Car race at the 1-mile paved Trenton Speedway, Trenton, NJ. Tom Pistone was second followed by Mike Klapak, Tommy Irwin, Louie Unser, Buzz Woodward, Bob Devine, Bob Sterrett, Marshall Teague and Johnny Mackison.
