Kenny Brightbill was the over all winner of the "Run What Ya Brung" Shoot Out 81 at the Albany-Saratoga Speedway, Malta, NY. The 3-50 lap format races were won by Jimmy Horton, Kenny Brightbill and Billy Pauch. Billy Pauch came in second in the final point standings followed by Paul Lotier, Don Kreitz, Roger Laureno, Tommy Corellis, Eddie Delmolino, Gary Gollub, Dave Kelly and Jimmy Horton. Brightbill collected $10,000 for the win.
