Make Bridgeport Speedway and the Poker Series Hand Two presented by Colonial Pipeline and 811 Awareness your Sunday destination with a 40-lap big-block Modified event paying $4,000 to the winner, $1,000 for fifth, $500 for 10th and $300 to take the green tomorrow night! The TSRS 305 Sprints, Crate Sportsman and Outlaw Stocks complete the program.
New Poker Series apparel will be on sale. For the fans, there will be $1 hot dogs with Dietz and Watson Dollar Dog Night, pre-race driver meet and greet sessions (5-5:30 p.m.), a post-race party under the pavilion featuring a DJ and much more. Camping is encouraged on the speedway grounds.
Bridgeport will serve as a WXTU 92.5 "Ticket Stop" for the 28th anniversary show at the Susquehanna Bank Center on June 2. WXTU staff will be on site from 6-7 p.m.
Expected invaders include Billy Pauch, Duane Howard, Craig Von Dohren, Jamie Mills, Ryan Godown, Doug Manmiller, Wade Hendrickson and more to challenge the Bridgeport Bad Boys including Ryan Watt, Rick Laubach, Eric Kormann, Richie Pratt, Mike Barone, Jimmy Horton, Jesse Hill and the tough weekly field.
Show-up points will be awarded for the Modifieds. Bridgeport Speedway Poker Series Modified tire rule for Sunday's big 'Hand Two' Poker Series event:
Right-Rear: American Racer 48 or Bridgeport Hard (any stamp)
Left-Rear: American Racer 44 (any stamp)
May use minimum 33 American Racer front or harder (any stamp)
Small-Block (under 361 c.i. is 2,400 lbs.) - Big-Block (over 361 c.i.-max. 471 c.i. is 2,500 lbs.)
Rules match those used in the Race of Champions opener March 31.
Gates will open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing set to begin at 7 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $25 for Adults and $23 for Seniors (65 and over) and Students (with ID). Kids 12 and under are admitted FREE. Pit admission is $30 for Bridgeport members and $35 for non-members.
