Today is the final day of the 13th Annual Quaker Steak & Lube Dirt Track Heroes Car Show at the Palmer Park Mall in Easton PA. Show hours on Sunday, March 8 are 11 AM to 6 PM. An impressive variety of restored race cars as well as present day race cars are proudly on display along with activities like a tire change competition, a slot car track, an RC track and a host of racing memorabilia.
The management team of the Palmer Park Mall are just amazing and very accommodating and in fact, the show for 2021 is also in the planning stages. The Dirt Track Heroes Show Room (formerly the BON-TON Store) is in a buzz with activity.
This show is absolutely Free and brought to you by Quaker Steak & Lube, the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series at Grandview Speedway and IRCO Community Federal Credit Union.
The popular 13th Annual Dirt Track Heroes Car Show is also dedicated to the late Doug Hoffman who was a local driving star and a successful race promoter. Victory lane checks, Doug’s helmets and a restored Doug Hoffman modified are just some of the great items on hand to honor Doug Hoffman.

EIGHTY CARS HIGHLIGHT OPENING OF 13TH ANNUAL QUAKER STEAK & LUBE DIRT TRACK HEROES CAR SHOW, CONTINUES THROUGH SUNDAY
The green flag is about to fall and open the 13th Annual Quaker Steak & Lube Dirt Track Heroes Car Show at the Palmer Park Mall in Easton PA. The Mall will open at 10 AM with many cars in the mall walkway, then at 5 PM, the ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at the entrance of the former BON-TON Store and the doors will open wide for all to officially view the Dirt Track Heroes Car Show. The Friday night show will run until 10 PM. On Saturday, the show will run from 10 AM to 9 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 6 PM. Please reference the show schedule of events to view all activities. A grand display of restored race cars as well as present day race cars are proudly on display.
There was a huge buzz during the show set up and plans are already taking place for 2021! There is just that much excitement and the Palmer Park Mall is very accommodating.
In addition to the fabulous race cars on display, there is a variety of venders, a slot car track and even an RC (Radio Controlled) track with actual schedule racing events. Race fans will have a chance to take the wheel as well.

ACTION PACKED SCHEDULE SET FOR 13TH ANNUAL QUAKER STEAK & LUBE DIRT TRACK HEROES CAR SHOW, OPENS FRIDAY AT PALMER PARK MALL IN EASTON, PA
With the 13th Annual Dirt Track Hereos show less than one week away the jammed pack schedule offers something for all fan each day. “For the opening ceremonies on Friday, we really want to honor Steve and Ed Pados for all they have all they have done not only with this show but for the entire racing community”, noted event organizer Justin Beltrame. The Pados Brothers have done so much for racing and the Dirt Track Heroes event that it is appropriate to salute them in the opening of the show.
The Saturday show kicks off with the Small Car Saturday event sponsored by Snyderville Raceway and Oreville Kart Club. Drivers from all small car classes can attend to talk about their racing career and schedule for the 2020 season. Special Guest Jon Keller will be on hand to talk not only about the classic Trenton win but also his season and chat will all the young drivers. After that we will head into an autograph session with many of the legends of Dorney Park and Mahoning Valley. The icing on the cake for Saturday will be the “2nd Annual Premio Foods Sausage Eating Contest”. Sunday is a day for Doug Hoffman and Nazareth Speedway. Many drivers will be on hand for an autograph session while we salute Doug Hoffman a man who has won some of the biggest races in the Northeast scene on both Dirt and Asphalt.
Also taking place on all three days is a tire changing competition thanks to Steve Young and the 187 Dirt Track Media modified. The top two from each day will be receive prizes for their efforts.

Finally, after a few strolls around the mall and the show there will be a screening room to sit back and relax and watch racing videos from different tracks and different eras for asphalt and dirt racing.

Fresh off his historic victory at the Indoor Classic in Trenton, Jon Keller will be a special guest for the “Small Car Saturday” portion of the Dirt Track Heroes show sponsored by Snydersville Raceway and Oreville Kart Club. The Cobbs Mill Performance & Fabricating winning car, trophy, and check will be on hand for all the patrons of the Dirt Track Heroes show to see on Saturday March 7th at the Palmer Park Mall in Easton. Jon is excited to talk to the crowd not only about the monumental victory but to encourage the young drivers to keep working hard and growing through the ranks of racing. We will also discuss his up and coming plans for the 2020 season. Keller will also have hero cards and sign autographs for all the fans in attendance on Saturday.
Also on Saturday will be the 2nd Annual Premio Foods Sausage Eating Contest with top prize of $100 donated by Pete Telesco of Premio foods. Prizes will also be giving for second and third place. Limited spots for the contest are available as we will have sign ups at the show. Also, a tire changing competition will take place all three days thanks to Steve Young and the Dirt Track 187 Media Sportsman car. Prizes will be giving away for the top 2 each day with gift certificates from A Step Above Event Planning and many more. Trains and Lanes will not only have an indoor R/C race on a custom-built track but will also have extra cars on hand for the kids to drive and navigate through their course.

The three day event will showcase various race cars from different divisions to include race cars of current day as well as past racing days. This popular event will include a tribute to Doug Hoffman and the great racing legacy he left behind. Event organizers are also dedicating this event to the racing promotional team of Steve and Ed Pados, both instrumental in the past success of this show.
Once again Smith Fabrications, the home of the Stage One Modifieds, will play an important role in this year's edition of the show. The Smith name has remained synonymous to the local racing scene for the past six decades as father Roy Smith was a pioneer in the golden era of racing with his signature numbered 555 race cars that had many top drivers wheeling the equipment such as Freddy Adam, Bobby Bottcher, Billy Tanzosh, Johnny Cabral and Richie Smith among them. "Rapid Rich" has utilized his years of knowledge while steering a race car to come up with a scaled version of the full sized Modified cars he drove to many wins in his driving career. The cutting edge, sleek looking Stage One Modified is the finished product from Smith Fabrications and the cars are real eye-catchers when on display or at speed.
