Hear the Thunder, Feel the Thunder, See the Thunder Tuesday night, July 3rd at the Grandview Speedway when the Thunder on the Hill Racing Series presents Double-Header Madness, bringing together the 410 sprints and the always popular 358 Modifieds. A talented field of both 410 Sprint and Modified drivers are expected to gather on the “hill” next Tuesday night. Race time is set for 7:30 PM with sprint car time trials being the first order of business followed by heat race qualifying for both divisions, leading up to the $5,000 to win 35 lap 410 sprint car feature and the 25 lap BPG $3,000 to win 358 modified feature.

This event will mark the 104th NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series. 410 sprint car drivers expected to be on hand include Fred Rahmer, Lance Dewease, Daryn Pittman, Mark Smith, Brian Leppo, Greg Hodnett and Brian Montieth just to name a few. Expected modified entries include Duane Howard, Craig VonDohren, Jeff Strunk, Rick Laubach, MeMe DeSantis, Ryan Godown and Billy Pauch.

Just added to this program will be the Chad Miller Sweep for the Modifieds. In memory of Chad Miller, Donnie, Patti and Chelsea Miller are posting $50 to the winner of each modified heat race. The heat race winners will then run a 3 lap Dash for Cash that will pay $200 to the winner. If the winner of the Dash goes on to win the feature, they will earn an additional $200. A total of $450 will go the winner of the Chad Miller Sweep. Those who knew Chad, truly understand the special person is was, and his over-riding love for racing, family and friends.
