DEMO DERBY, SIX MAIN EVENTS AND DISCOUNT ADMISSION ON “PACK THE TRACK NIGHT” AT WALL STADIUM THIS SATURDAY (JULY 21)
WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. ~ Auto racing fans have a big event slated for this Saturday (July 21) at Wall Stadium Speedway with a Demolition Derby and six All American Auto Group Racing Series main events during “Pack the Track Night” action. A special discounted admission price of just $10 for adults and $5 for students aged 7 to 17 will be offered. Kids 6 and under and parking are always free. Spectator seating will open at 5:00 p.m., with qualifying slated for 5:45 p.m. Main event action will follow at around 7:00 p.m. This “Carnival Night” themed event will feature free games on the midway area.
On the famous high banked third mile paved oval six feature races will be presented with the Center State Engineering Sportsman cars, the O'Shea's Auto Repair Factory Stocks and the Surfside Collision 4 Cylinder Stocks all competing in two 25-lap main events.
The Sportsman races will see former champion Kevin Davison and Eric Lane, both of Howell, lead the way with plenty of competition from young guns Eddie McCarthy of Pt. Pleasant and brothers Jarret and Carsten DiGiantomasso, both of Jackson, just to name a few. In addition division sponsor Center State Engineering is posting a $250 bonus for each Sportsman race.
Top racers in the Factory Stock twin races will include point leader Mike Montano of Freeport, N.Y. former champ Scot Riggleman of Manchester and Beachwood's Elliot Wohl. Defending champ Brian Osborn of Howell, Sal Liguori of Union Beach and Wall's TJ Graves are expected to lead the 4 Cylinders into twin main event action.
Once the races are complete, the action will turn destructive when the Demolition Derby action is presented.
The grandstand midway will be festive during the “Carnival Night” event as plenty of games of chance for both young and old will be offered with prizes going to the winners.
Saturday’s schedule will see the competitor pit area open at 1:00 p.m. Regular practice will start at 3:00 p.m., while spectator seating will open at 5:00 p.m. Qualifying will then begin at 5:45 p.m. and feature race action for all divisions is slated for 7:00 p.m.

Bridgeport Utilizes Wednesday Rain Date for “Three for All”
Bridgeport, NJ - Bridgeport Speedway has decided to push back Tuesday’s racing program to their original scheduled rain date of Wednesday, July 18. The Super Late Models, 358 small blocks, and USAC East Coast wingless 360 sprint cars will now thrill the crowd a day later on the all new Design for Vision/Sunglass Central 3/8 mile.
“And the trend continues here for us,” offered general manager Danny Serrano. “We were off this weekend and it was gorgeous weather of course....come back Tuesday and the forecast says 100% chance of thunderstorms. However, the silver lining in all of this is that Wednesdaylooks picture perfect for racing. It’s gonna be a hell of show and we’ve got tons of drivers that can’t wait to try out the new 3/8. We’ve been out there prepping it all day and this way we’ll be ready for Wednesday now,” Serrano added. “It’s not often you can see guys like Austin Hubbard, Billy Pauch, Eddie Strada, Kyle Hardy, Jeff Strunk, Mike Gular, Mark Bitner, Ryan Godown, Amanda Whaley, Coleby Frye, and Bernheisel all in one night!”

BLEWETT WINS WALL'S MODIFIED 100-LAPPER
WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. ~ Defending Pete and Elda's Bar/Carmen's Pizzeria Modified driving champion Jimmy Blewett continued his impressive season on Saturday night by winning the 100-lap “Summer Scorcher” at Wall Stadium Speedway. The All American Auto Group Racing Series victory, Blewett's seventh on the season, was worth $4,000.
Tyler Truex of Mayetta jumped to the lead at the outset while Blewett began his march to the front from the eighth starting slot. A couple of cautions slowed the early action and by lap 30 Blewett had advanced to third behind Truex and Jackson's Steven Reed. Blewett then slipped into second on lap 46 before powering to the front in the outside lane on a lap 51 restart.
Blewett led the second half of the race but held off constant pressure from Truex who lurked in his shadow very lap. Holmdel's Andrew Krause was third and Chas Okerson of Freehold was forth. In addition to the posted purse division sponsor Pete and Elda's Bar/Carmen's Pizzeria posted bonus money to the fifth through ninth place finishers. Reed earned purse money and a $500 bonus for fifth, while Shaun Carrig of Little Falls pocketed a $300 bonus for sixth. Seventh place finishing Jason Treat of Jackson earned a $200 bonus, while Zack Alspach of Willingboro and Adam LaCicero of Lavallette each earned a $100 bonus for their eighth and ninth place finishes, respectively.
“I know I say it over and over, but this all comes down to hard work,” Blewett said after the win. “Last night we were in the shop until 2 a.m. The night before until 1 a.m. My guys work real hard and give up a lot for the race team. I have to thank their families and my wife and family for there support. Tomorrow it is all about family time for me.”
John Carpenter of Howell took the lead early and fought off late race challenges to win the companion 25-lapper for the O'Shea's Auto Repair Factory Stocks. Elliot Wohl of Beachwood and John Bowers of Pt. Pleasant both attacked the first time winner before settling for second and third, respectively. Point leader Mike Montano of Freeport, N.Y. and Ron Booth wrapped up the top five.
TJ Graves of Wall won his second straight Surfside Collision 4 Cylinder Stock 25-lap main event over Chris Silvestri of Hazlet. Neptune's Jeff Loesch, Sal Liguori of Union Beach and Wall's Rob Longo were third through fifth.
Howell's Rob Silver won his first ever main event at the speedway taking to honors in the 25-lap main for the Green Flag Driving Experience Legend Cars. Nick Van Wickle of Edgewater Park, Little Silver's Peter Bruno, James Van Wickle and Art Marrero wrapped up the top five.
The All American Auto Group Racing Series continues this Saturday evening (July 21) with another “Pack the Track Night” that features a discounted $10 adult grandstand admission. A Demolition Derby will be the finale of the program which also features double main events for the Center State Engineering Sportsman cars, the Factory Stocks and the 4 Cylinder Stocks. Grandstands open at 5:00 p.m., with qualifying set for 5:45 p.m. and feature race action set for 7:00 p.m.

NEW EGYPT, NJ July 15, 2018. . . . . It all goes down at sun down on Tuesday night, July 24 with the eighth running of the Pioneer Pole Buildings JERSEY RUSH VIII.
For their one and only appearance in the state of New Jersey, the 410 sprints will invade the state and they remain the most powerful race cars on dirt, making this very special appearance at the New Egypt Speedway. The Jersey Rush VIII, the ultimate triple header event, has a new twist in the Tuesday night, July 24 event. The 410 sprints will headline this show joined again by the Big Block/358 Modified Challenge and new in 2018, the addition of the Sportsman (open sportsman and crate sportsman) competing in a unique format to include a 20 lap $1,000 to win feature event.
Gates open at 5 PM with race time set for 7:30 PM. Come out early and take part in the Meet & Greet where you may go in the pits between 5 PM and 6:15 to meet your favorite sprint drivers and get a close up look at the sprint cars before the drop of the green flag.
The 410 sprints will complete in time trials and a series of qualifying events all leading up to the 30 lap $5,000 to win Jersey Rush VIII. Tenth will pay an attractive $1,000 and $300 is being offered just to start the main event. Oliver Construction has sweetened the pot posting $200 to win each of the sprint heat race events as CNB Chubby added $200 in cash as the Fast Time Award.
JJ Grasso is the defending Jersey Rush champion and winner of three of the seven Jersey Rush events. 410 star Greg Hodnett is a two time winner of the Jersey Rush. Other event winners include Daryn Pitman and the “Kunkletown Kid” Ryan Smith. Both Grasso and Smith are early entries and have their eyes glued on the $5,000 winner’s check.
The Big Block vs Small Block Modifieds will take part in timed warm-ups, a series of heat race events also paying $200 to win courtesy of Oliver Construction and a 30 lap $3,000 to win feature event. Fifth will pay $1,000 with $250 being paid to start the main event. Billy Pauch Jr is the defending winner of the Modified Jersey Rush. Previous modified winners include Jimmy Horton, Duane Howard, Ryan Godown and Billy Pauch, a two time winner.
The newest addition to the Jersey Rush VIII is the Open Sportsman vs Crate Sportsman Challenge, a 20 lap feature that will pay $1,000 to the winner. The Sportsman will compete in timed warm-ups and a consolation leading up to the main event. Both Open Sportsman and Crate Sportsman will be awarded 50 show-up points for taking part in the Jersey Rush III.

RUTSKI ROLLS TO HIS SECOND MODIFIED WIN OF THE YEAR AT NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY
New Egypt, NJ (July 15, 2018) - At New Egypt Speedway's Premio Foods Little
League Night, Rich Rutski rolled to his second Modified feature win of the
year. The Hammer Sportsman feature was taken by Billy Osmun. Bill Liedtka
won the Street Stock main event while Joe Garey Sr. was the victor in the
4-Cylinder race.
After the original start was marred by a multi-car tangle in turn one, the
30-lap Modified feature began with polesitter Rich Rutski grabbing the lead
and Steve Davis running in second. Following a caution period on the third
circuit, Davis sped past Rutski on the restart to gain first place. After a
trio of cautions on lap five, Davis was still on top with Rutski and Brian
Papiez next in line. Over the next few tours, Rutski began to track down
Davis and returned to the lead with ten laps completed. By the halfway
point, Rutski had established a comfortable margin over Davis with Billy
Pauch Jr. in third, Papiez in fourth and Danny Bouc in fifth. With ten laps
remaining, Rutski was beginning to navigate through lap traffic as Pauch Jr.
edged past Davis for second. Brandon Grosso, who won the July 7 feature, was
continuing his march to the front by moving into fifth on lap twenty-one.
With five circuits to go, Rutski had nearly a full straightway advantage
over Pauch Jr. with a three car battle for third between Davis, Papiez and
Grosso beginning to heat up. Over the final tours, Rutski's edge over Pauch
Jr. narrowed but Rutski held on for his second win of the season and the
third of his career. Pauch Jr. finished in second. Grosso won the good clash
for third in the closing circuits. Davis came home in fourth and Bouc
rallied by Papiez on the last lap to finish in fifth. Rich Rutski, Davey
Sammons and David VanHorn recorded wins in the heats for the Modifieds.
In the 20-lap Hammer Sportsman feature, Billy Osmun grabbed the lead at the
midway point and remained in control the rest of the way to score his first
win of the season. Shaun Ratchford led the opening nine revolutions before
the eleventh place starting Osmun ascended to the front. Cale Ross finished
in second. After starting in thirteenth, Kyle Kania completed the race in
third. Fourth went to Ratchford with Ryan Heim taking fifth. Hammer
Sportsman qualifying races were taken by Cale Ross and Shaun Ratchford.
Bill Liedtka regained the lead with two circuits remaining to capture the
15-lap race for the Street Stocks. After Spider Ensinger Sr. paced the field
for the opening tour, the sixth place starting Liedtka took over. During a
caution on lap three, Liedtka retired to the pits with a flat tire and
Ensinger Sr. returned to the top of the field. On the sixth lap, Mick Search
motored to the front with Liedtka in fourth and on the march forward. On lap
thirteen, Liedtka slipped by Search and went on to win his third feature of
the year. With the victory, Liedtka is now the all-time leader in wins in
the division with a total of twenty-five. Search finished in second. Jon
Meyer, Ensinger Sr. and Billy Wroble rounded out the top five.
After taking the lead from his son on the seventh revolution, Joe Garey Sr.
sped away from the competition to register his fifth win of the year in the
15-lap 4-Cylinder race. Joe Garey Jr. finished second and Tom Stavola was
third.
Eastern Auto Parts Warehouse Night is set for Saturday, July 21 at New Egypt
Speedway. The Mid Atlantic Sprint Car Series will be on hand for an
interregional event plus a make-up feature from April 14. The Modifieds,
Larry's Hot Rods & Harley's Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars & Garden State
Vintage Stock Car Club are on the racing docket as well. The pit gates swing
open at 4:00 p.m. and the grandstand turnstiles unlock at 5:00 p.m. Hot laps
start at 6:00 p.m. and racing begins at 7:00 p.m. Admission to the
grandstand is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors 65 and older, $10 for teens
12-15, $10 for military personal and their spouses with ID, and Kids 11 &
under are FREE. Pit admission is $30 with a New Egypt Speedway license and
$40 with no license.

MANMILLER, WILSON AND LISOWSKI ADD NAMES TO GROWING FEATURE WINNERS LIST DURING WHELEN ENGINEERING NIGHT AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. July 15, 2018 . . . Every NASCAR feature winner that stood in victory lane on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway in the action sponsored by Whelen Engineering posted their first feature win of the season.
Doug Manmiller worked hard to take home the checkered in the T.P. Trailers 30-lap NASCAR Modified feature. First “The Handler” battled with veteran racer Ray Swinehart for 11 laps before he merged ahead on the 18th lap. Then runner-up Ryan Grim challenged Manmiller many times until the checkered unfurled. The Shoemakersville chauffeur, absent from the winner’s circle since July 15, 2017, couldn’t thank his car owner Lee Miller and the crew enough for sticking by him through the many obstacles they endured throughout the season.
Late Model action saw Steve Wilson prove that the race isn’t over until the final lap. It appeared Sean “Big Sexy” Merkel, who was running away with the race, was on his way to the winner’s circle before the 19th lap caution regrouped the pack. Merkel kept Wilson, shut out of a win since August 25, 2012, behind him on the restart. Three laps to go the tables turned when Wilson dove underneath Merkel for the lead and went on to claim the triumph in the 20-lap NASCAR event.
In the 25-lap NASCAR Sportsman feature, Mike Lisowski chased leader Mark Kemmerer since the 10th lap before he closed the distance enough to pressure him. Lisowski changed to the high groove with five laps to go and was able to overtake him to collect the win, his first since June 17, 2017.
Impressive was the fact that Manmiller and Wilson were the sixth different winners in their respective divisions, while Lisowski was the ninth different winner in his class.
Providing feature winners met the necessary requirements, they received monetary awards from T.P. Trailers and also product certificates from VP Fuels.
Chris Esposito passed Swinehart for the lead on the second lap of the Modified race
A front stretch chain reaction incident that sent Jeff Strunk, Brett Kressley, Kevin Hirthler and Craig Von Dohren scrambling pit side caused a yellow with two laps in. Timmy Buckwalter and Ron Kline were eliminated, but the others rejoined the action in time. Esposito held his own when action continued, but Swinehart gave him no margin to err.
Swinehart was back in command by the fourth circuit followed by Esposito, Brett Gilmore, Manmiller and Clay Butler.
Manmiller took over second on the seventh lap and within no time he was putting his bids in for the lead. Swinehart stuck to the high trek while Manmiller attempted to dive underneath to make his move, but to no avail.
The two veteran campaigners ran side-by-side for several laps without incident while Brett Gilmore, Ryan Grim and Mike Gular were bumper-to-bumper making it a five-car battle for first.
Swinehart had a slight edge on Manmiller on the straight chute, but Manmiller stayed with him.
Manmiller finally succeeded to become the new leader on the 18th lap. The battle behind Manmiller was a fierce one between Swinehart, Grim, Gilmore and Gular with Duane Howard knocking on the door trying to get into a top five spot.
Positions were constantly changing behind Manmiller as the laps wound down, but one spot that remained the same was the one Manmiller was in – the lead. He kept the competition behind him to claim his 27th career win. Finishing second for his season best run was Grim followed by Howard, Brett Gilmore, who posted his best run since switching to the modified division last year and Strunk, who came on strong after coming from the back of the pack after the second lap melee.
Heats were won by Swinehart, Jared Umbenhauer, Von Dohren and B. Gilmore. Justin Grim and Frank Cozze won the consolation races.
At the drop of the green in the Late Model feature it didn’t take polesitter Sean Merkel long to open up daylight while Drew Weisser, Wilson, Cory Merkel and Jordan Knepp diced for positions.
While Merkel outdistanced himself, Wilson and Weisser had their own battle for second while the other Merkel brothers – Kyle and Cory diced for third with Chuck Schutz waiting for a slip-up in hopes to advance.
The field was rejoined when a flat tire brought Chuck Schutz, who at one time was third, to a stop in turn one for the 19th lap caution. After a quick pit stop he returned. S. Merkel held his own on the restart, but Wilson was right there trying to take the lead away.
Lap 22 saw a new leader at the head of the pack since Wilson was now first.
Wilson never surrendered the lead and pulled into victory for his second career win followed by Sean and Kyle Merkel, Weisser and Steve Todorow.
Lex Shive led seven laps of the Sportsman feature before Kemmerer took over the reins.
While Kemmerer showed the way, Lisowski, Shive, Kenny Bock and B.J. Joly diced for second through fifth.
Kemmerer was able to keep Lisowski behind him until five laps to go after several laps of side-by-side action. That’s when the move Lisowski made stuck and he was now first.
Lisowski never faltered and went on to claim his ninth career win. Chasing him across the line were Kemmerer, Grim, Shive and Reimert.
Grim, Brad Arnold and Lisowski were the heat winners.
Hatfield Meats will be sponsoring the Saturday night, July 21st, action at Grandview with the green flag falling at 7:30 p.m. Included in the action will be the T.P.Trailers 358 Modifieds, Late Models, Sportsman and the added excitement of the Blast from the Past Vintage Racers. Hatfield is a long time sponsor of stock car racing at Grandview and they do get the fans involved with shirt and hot dog tosses handled by their mascot Smiley the Pig.
The Saturday four division card of racing will be another exciting evening of NASCAR stock car racing on the high banks. Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m.
At 5 p.m. the Low Down and Dirty Internet Radio Meet & Greet will feature T.[.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modified racers Kenny and Brett Gilmore.

And the night before, Friday, July 20th, 6 p.m. will see the first Friday night show of Outlaw Enduros (Big and Small cars) and Blast from the Past Vintage Modifieds. Also included will be a Mechanix race, Junkyard Car race, Super Mod 4x4 Trucks and Vintage Midgets. Pit admission is $30 while adults in the spectator area pay just $10.
