Ledgewood Mall Motorsports Show to Help Local Food Bank

LEDGEWOOD NJ- The Ledgewood Mall will host its annual motorsports car show the weekend of March 2nd and 3rd at the Ledgewood Mall, located on route 10 in Ledgewood NJ. The Ledgewood Mall Motorsports show is one of the oldest, continually running mall motorsports car shows in New Jersey.

Every year the corridors of the Ledgewood Mall become filled with an assortment of race cars of every type: Motorcycles, Modifieds, Microstocks, Sprints, Drag race cars, 4x4’s, 3/4&1/4 midgets and go-karts. Many local racers come to the two day show to display the cars they’ve worked hard on all winter and to mingle with the fans.

However, the Ledgewood Mall car show isn’t just a showcase for local racers and their race cars, It’s also a way for the racers and race fans to give back to the Roxbury Township community food bank. In the past seven years, the Roxbury Twp. ‘Cop's Care’ program, has donated over five thousand pounds of food to the local food pantry and raising over $90,000.00 to Kids with Cancer. A trophy will be given out for to the show participant who donates the most food.

Race Promoter Glenn Gordon said, “All race vehicles are welcome. If you raced it; bring it to the show.”
