After a two year absence, 305 Sprint Car competition is set to return to Big Diamond Speedway with the newly formed Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series on Friday, June 2nd, 2017.

“We are eager to bring racing back to Big Diamond Speedway with the 305 Sprints, and I know in past events with TSRS, car counts were always impressive, the stands were full and the racing was of course exciting,” Eddie Wagner, Regional Director of MASS shared. “We are gracious that Big Diamond Speedway is welcoming us with open arms, and we are excited to see our relationship flourish in the future”.

Big Diamond Speedway, famous for its racy track configuration where cars can be seen battling on the top and bottom of the 3/8 mile dirt oval, is recognized as “a perfect sprint car track” by those who favor the Minersville, PA speedway. MASS Drivers who have already expressed their enthusiasm in competing on June 2nd are 2016 IMCA/TSRS Points Champion Tim Tanner JR, Jeff Geiges, Tommy Carberry, Stefanie Palmai Carberry, Eddie Wagner, Joe Kay, Zack Burd, Keith Anderson, Doug Snow, Chris Allen, and Dave Brown Jr to name a few.

With $300 going to the feature winner, $175 will be paid out to take the green and $35 will be awarded as tow money for non-qualifiers. Contingency sponsors for this event will be announced at a later date, with Bruce’s Auto Body already signing on as the $25 Bonus Hard Charger Award sponsor.
