MID-ATLANTIC SPRINT SERIES PRE-SEASON MEMBERSHIP MEETING SET FOR FEBRUARY 12TH; SET TO ANNOUNCE NEW SERIES SPONSOR

As the 2017 season quickly approaches, the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series officials has scheduled a final pre-season membership meeting on Sunday February 12th, at 1PM at the Penndel Firehouse located in Penndel, PA.

“At this meeting on the twelfth, we will be discussing the voting results on handicapping, non-member visitor policies, and the championship points policy options that were handed out in the membership packets at Motorsports and prior to the meeting,” MASS Regional Director Eddie Wagner explained. “Also, we will be covering some other rules, track tech procedures, and we are going to introduce our contingency and cash sponsors including our new series sponsor that we have recently partnered with for the 2017 season!”

¨We had a really great turn-out at Motorsports a few weeks ago, with a lot of familiar and new faces showing interest in what we have to offer our drivers and teams this season,” MASS General Manager Jeff Geiges mentioned.

Thirty members pre-registered at Motorsports, including former TSRS 305 drivers Tim Tanner, Stefanie Palmai Carberry, Gabe Fox, Tommy Carberry, Rick Stief, David Bonner, Brendon Poff, Dave Brown, Mark Bitner, Scott Frack and John Barnett to name a few.

Some new drivers the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series has attracted to the New Jersey/Pennsylvania/Delaware 305 scene are sixteen-year-old Craig Pellegrini Jr., former Modified stand-out Tom Carberry Sr., and “Rookie of the Year” contenders Austin Bishop, John Webster, Bobby Schreff, Dean Conk JR, Doug Snow, and Patrick Compton.

If you have not yet completed the voting sheets, or are still waiting to sign up with MASS, it is strongly advise to do so before the meeting, so that your voting opinions can be considered. All membership registration sheets are located on the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series website, at www.masprintseries.com/mid-atlantic-rules.
