QUAKER STEAK & LUBE DIRT TRACK HEROES ANNOUNCEMENT

QUAKER STEAK & LUBE SHOWCASES DIRT TRACK HEROES CAR SHOW, MARCH 4-10, 2018 AT THE PHILLIPSBURG MALL, PHILLIPSBURG, NJ

Quaker Steak & Lube, or The Lube(r) to loyalists, the award-winning casual dining concept known for its Best Wings USA and over 25 signature sauces, is fully prepped and geared as the lead sponsor for the trend setting 11th Annual Dirt Track Heroes Car Show set to take place at the Phillipsburg, NJ Mall, Route 22 East from March 4th to March 10th, 2018. Quaker Steak Lube, which opened in Phillipsburg, New Jersey in August of 2014, signed on with the successful show for the past three years and are extremely pleased to once again lend their full support to the popular annual racing oriented show.

The original Quaker Steak restaurant was built in 1974 in an abandoned gas station, decorated with antique license plates and old muscle cars. Originally a "cook-your-own-steak" establishment, The Lube's signature dish is now its fabulous chicken wings and the wide variety of signature sauces used to season them. The name is a play on that of the motor oil company Quaker State. There are more than 55 restaurant locations, operating in eastern Ohio, New Jersey, NewYork, Colorado, Louisiana and Florida as well as western and central Pennsylvania.

The Pohatcong Township (Phillipsburg, NJ) Quaker Steak & Lube is located at 1304 US Route 22, Phillipsburg, NJ, and welcomes all race fans and families to stop by their location when visiting the New Jersey area to get re-charged and re-fueled. The excitement for the returning show is already gaining momentum as General Manager Nick Graf from Quaker Steak & Lube stated, "We are once again excited to sponsor and play a part in the upcoming Dirt Track Heroes Car Show. The event is extremely popular and even though the show is a few months away, some of our customers are already talking about it when they come to dine at the Quaker Steak & Lube." Graf further added, "Our involvement with a show of this magnitude has been a natural fit for us as our restaurants recognize and salute the racing heroes of the past, present and future and we have assisted some up and coming racers in the local area. We look forward to showcasing our Quaker Steak & Lube Restaurant at the 2018 event and becoming more involved with the show and local racing action in the future."

The 11th Annual Quaker Steak & Lube Dirt Track Heroes Car Show has a busy seven days planned with opening day set for Sunday, March 4th. Race cars and show cars from all divisions of racing will be on display with a full week of nightly special events and interviews. The 2017 edition of the show produced more than 300 interviews throughout the week and a record setting 162 entries took part in the show. The popular round table discussions return and expanded as many of the legendary drivers reunite to share special and unique stories that took place on and off the track. With this being the eleventh year of the event, the management and staff of the event are reaching out to all avenues of the racing community to become involved with the show.

The show offers a large display of racing memorabilia, collectibles and photos from all of the racing historical groups for race fans to reflect back on their favorite moments of their love for racing. The show is and remains absolutely FREE to the public.
