ASSOCIATE SPONSORS SIGN ON FOR 12TH ANNUAL QUAKER STEAK & LUBE DIRT TRACK HEROES SHOW, OPENING MARCH 3 AT THE PHILLIPSBURG MALL

With the countdown entering the final week, the Twelfth Annual Quaker Steak & Lube Dirt Track Heroes Show staff continues to place the finishing touches to the show. The management staff of the show has reached out to all race tracks and racing series with high hopes all will respond and be represented when the show begins on March 3rd. The interest has been strong for the upcoming event and will bring the past, present and future of all auto racing ventures under one roof in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. The successful show kicks off on Sunday, March 3rd with the honoring of one of the top local Modified stars "Rapid" Richie Smith, a seventeen time winner at the Nazareth Speedway. Each night of the show will focus on different venues and racing series. The show concludes on March 9th with a lasting tribute to “The Old Master” Frankie Schneider, who has been referred to by many as the greatest racing driver of the era. The Phillipsburg Mall, located on Route 22 East in Phillipsburg, NJ, has proven to be a popular setting for this special event and will offer a multitude of race cars, racing memorabilia, collectibles and photos on display throughout the course of the show. The show continues to be FREE of charge to the mall traffic and the 2019 edition of the show will continue to be the trend setter of the many shows that are scheduled during the year. With an exciting and diverse schedule of events to whet the appetite of any true race fan, large crowds are expected to fill the wide walkways of the Phillipsburg Mall.

Quaker Steak & Lube is fully prepped and geared as the lead sponsor for the 12th Annual Dirt Track Heroes Car Show. Quaker Steak & Lube signed on with the successful show in 2015 and have been extremely pleased with the excellent results and the great feedback they have received since joining forces with the popular annual racing oriented show. The Pohatcong Township (Phillipsburg, NJ) Quaker Steak & Lube is located at 1304 US Route 22, Phillipsburg, NJ, and welcomes all race fans and families to stop by before or after the show when visiting the New Jersey area to be re-charged and re-fueled.

Joe offers a variety of services designed to keep your car fit as a fiddle with Inspections, oil changes, tires, batteries, diagnostics, air conditioning and also offers towing services. The Quaker Steak & Lube Dirt Track Heroes Show has a great group of sponsors for the upcoming show. All historical racing groups including Flemington, Tri State, Reading, Harmony, Dorney Park and Nazareth will have their memorabilia on display and their many scrapbooks open for the fans to take another long look at the glory years of racing and possibly find a picture or two they want to purchase as a keepsake from past glory or racing exploits. Cars on display include big and small block Modifieds, Sportsman, Drag Cars, 270 and 600 Sprints, Midgets, All Sprint car divisions, Wingless Sprints, Late Models, go-karts, quarter midgets and a broad range of vintage and restored race cars. Hamlin, Snydersville, New Egypt, Mahoning, Grandview, Big Diamond, Accord and Bridgeport have been invited to the 2019 show. The week-long event will set aside one evening to salute the "Stars of Tomorrow" with a special night for the budding young racing talents competing with the many quarter midget clubs in the local area.

Wednesday- March 6 – (6:30 PM) Smith Fabrications and Hamlin Speedway presents Hamlin Speedway all divisions, Snydersville and Oreville Raceway and Accord Speedway

Thursday- March 7- (6:30) Phillipsburg Easton Honda and Smitty’s Collision Center presents New Egypt, Bridgeport, Mahoning, Grandview, Big Diamond Raceway and X-Cel Modifieds

Friday - March 8 – (1st Show (4 p.m.) JPA Masonry and Speed Tec presents “The Legends of Racing” with many legendary racing stars from Reading, Nazareth, Harmony, Orange County and Flemington expected to participate in round-table fun.
