MODIFIEDS AND TWIN 4 CYLINDER RACES HEADLINE WALL STADIUM THIS SATURDAY (SEPT. 7)

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. ~ The All American Auto Group Modified stock cars and the Surfside collision 4 Cylinder Stocks will take center stage at Wall Stadium this Saturday night (Sept. 7) as they compete in headlining main events.

The Modifieds will race in a 40-lapper while double duty action will be offered for the 4 Cylinder Stocks with Twin 25-lappers. The Center State Engineering Sportsman cars and the Green Flag Driving Experience Legend Cars will full out the card in 25-lap main events. Grandstand seating will open at 5:00 p.m. and qualifying is set for 5:45 p.m. The evening’s main event action will follow around 7:00 p.m.

On the third mile high-banked paved oval “Retro Night” competition will see former champ and current Modified point leader Steven Reed of Jackson, Andrew Krause of Holmdel, Neptune's Chris Andretta, Kenny Van Wickle of Manasquan, Derek Hopkinson of Toms River and Jackson's Jason Treat, just to name a few, competing in a 40-lap feature race.

The 4 Cylinder Stocks will be led into their twin main events by point leader Neil Rutt III of Edison, Alonzo Morales of Mt. Ephraim, Neptune City's Jeffrey Loesch and Ryan Maher of Neptune, plus many more.

Saturday’s schedule will see the competitor pit area open at 1:00 p.m. Regular practice will start at 3:00 p.m., while spectator seating will open at 5:00 p.m. Qualifying for the night’s program starts at 5:45 p.m. and main events will follow at 7:00 p.m.

Wall Stadium presents professional motorsports events on Saturday evenings through October 5. Special events are also featured in the fall including the “Spooky Spectacular” on October 19 and the season ending Turkey Derby on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend.

The speedway is located on Route 34 in Wall Township, N.J., just one mile north of Garden State Parkway exit 98 and Interstate 195 exit 35B.
