FAST FURIOUS FRIDAYS – 2012 QUARTER MILE LIDLIFTER

The Fast and Furious Friday 2012 Lidlifter is set for this Friday. Micro-Sprints (270cc and 600cc) and 4-Cylinder Stock Cars will be action for their first point race of the year on the inner dirt oval. All gates open at 5:00 p.m. The first heat race gets the green flag at 7:00 p.m. Grandstand admission is $10 for Adults. Kids 12 and under are FREE. Admission to the pit area is $25 with a license and $30 without a license.

SATURDAY NIGHT STARS – GARDEN STATE VINTAGE STOCK CARS WITH WELD CAR

On Saturday, racecars of yesteryear will be on display and take part in an exhibition race as the Garden State Vintage Stock Car Club invades Bridgeport Speedway. The Big Block Modifieds are set for another 30-lap battle on the big 5/8th mile. PLUS, THE WELD #91 VINTAGE MODIFIED WILL PACE THE BIG BLOCK MODIFIED FEATURE FIELD. Crate Sportsmen and the always exciting Outlaw Stock Cars round out the show. The gates to the pits unlatch at 3:00 p.m. with the grandstand area opening to fans at 4:00 p.m. Hot laps are set for 5:30 p.m. and racing gets underway at 6:00 p.m. Grandstand admission is $20 for Adults and $18 for Seniors (65 and over) and Students (with ID). Kids 12 and under are FREE. Pit admission is $30 for Bridgeport members and $35 for non-members.
