NASCAR SPORTSMAN RACERS RACING FOR $2,000 TO WIN IN FIRECRACKER 40 AT GRANDVIEW JULY 13 UNITED RACING CLUB SPRINT CARS HEADLINE ACTION ON JULY 20TH

BECHTELSVILLE, PA July 9, 2019 . . . With $2,000 up for grabs for a win in the T.P.Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman Firecracker 40 on Hatfield Quality Meats Night this Saturday, July 13th at Grandview Speedway you just know competition is going to be fierce. And consider the fact that the racers have been rained out for the past two Saturdays and you just know they will be chomping at the bit to go racing especially with the big bucks on the line.

Point leader Brian Hirthler will be a favorite to win. The Green Lane racing talent will have plenty of competition as he goes for the rich victory and a chance to increase his lead in the standings for the NASCAR Sportsman track title.

At present Hirthler has just a 26 point lead over challenger Brad Grim. With the help of two feature wins the past champion has 1999 counters while Grim, without a win, sits with 1973 points. Veteran Brad Brightbill has two wins and 1935 points.

Looking to gain some ground with a strong effort in the 40-lap race will be Kyle Lilick, Brad Arnold, Kyle Smith and a host of others.

Joining the Sportsman as part of the tripleheader will be the T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds lead by such standouts as point leader and ten time track champion Craig VonDohren along with Duane Howard and Rick Laubach. Also joining the action with be another ten time track champion Jeff Strunk who has been on a hot streak lately.

And the always fun to watch Blast from the Past Vintage Racers will close out the three division show.

Fans are invited to visit the Low Down & Dirty Meet and Greet featuring Sportsman racers Brad Brightbill and Mike Koffel along with Modified racer Louden Reimert. It all gets started at 5 p.m. in the main entrance area.

Adult admission is $22, youngsters 6 through 11 pay just $5 and kids under 6 are admitted free.

Coming up on Saturday, July 20th is another tripleheader show featuring the Capital Renegade United Racing Club Sprints in their first appearance of the season at Grandview. Heading up the Sprint action will be Josh Weller, Chad Layton, Curt Michael, Austin Bishop, former Grandview Late Model champion Ed Aikin who has a URC feature win this season and a host of other Sprint standouts.

The NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Sportsman will be making up the rest of the three division show that is sponsored by T.P.Trailers and Truck Equipment of Limerick, PA.

Adult admission for this not to be missed show is $25, youngsters 6 through 11 pay $5 and kids under 6 are admitted free.
