Dietz & Watson Dollar Dog Night at Bridgeport Speedway May 27th

During the Second Hand of the Bridgeport Speedway Poker Series on May 27th, Dietz & Watson will be presenting their popular dollar hot dog night. Dietz & Watson currently sponsor the 16s of DiAntonio Racing and have been associated with driver Eric Kormann for a number of season. The ever popular "Dollar Dog Night," is always a hit with fans young and old.

SPORTSMAN TWIN 25’S AND TQ MIDGETS HEADLINE SATURDAY (MAY 19) AT WALL STADIUM

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. ~ The cars and stars of Wall Stadium’s highly competitive Sportsman division will enjoy top billing this Saturday night (May 19) as they compete in Twin 25 lap main events. Factory Stocks, Legend Cars, Street Stocks and the visiting open cockpit Three Quarter Midgets will also be on the card. The Modifieds have the night off. Grandstand seating opens at 4:00 p.m. and heat races start at 6:30 p.m.

Wall Stadium’s Sportsman division features an impressive roster of competitors ranging from tested veterans to young up and coming racing stars. Defending champion Kevin Eyres of Colts Neck, Robert Sutphin of Brick and Charlie Kremer III of Toms River represent the seasoned veterans expected to be in the field, while Eric Mauriello of Howell, Shawna Ingraham of Brick and Holmdel’s Andrew Krause are among the young lions expected to be in the field.

Like the Sportsman division, the roster for the invading TQ Midgets also offers many outstanding racers. Buddy Sloed, Jr. is expected lead a field which should include veterans Robin Johnston of Wayne, Pa., Frank Fischer of Flemington, Mike Tidaback of Little Falls and Ian Cumens of Lyndell, Pa., just to name a few.

In addition to the Sportsman Twin 25’s and a 25-lap main for the Midgets, The Factory Stocks, Legend Cars and the Street Stocks will also compete in 25-lap main events.

Pit gates will open at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday; with regular practice starting at 3:30 p.m. Grandstand seating will also open at 4:00 p.m. and the first qualifying event will take the green flag at 6:30 p.m.

Wall Stadium presents professional motorsports events on most Saturdays and Sundays during the summer months. The speedway is located on Route 34 in Wall Township, N.J., just one mile north of Garden State Parkway exit 98 and Interstate 195 exit 35B.
