13TH ANNUAL DIRT TRACK HEROES CAR SHOW TO MOVE TO PALMER PARK MALL IN EASTON, PA, MARCH 6 TO MARCH 8

It is with great disappointment that after twelve successful years, The Dirt Track Heroes Car Show will not be returning to the Phillipsburg Mall in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Two days before Christmas, the Phillipsburg Mall merchants were notified that they need to vacate the property, and the Mall will be closing.

"It is a disappointment, but not a surprise as the activity at the Mall has seen a decline over the past two years," commented event organizer Bob Miller. "I learned of the closing at the same time the merchants were notified."

"We had dates and an unsigned contract for the 2020 show since May 2019 and intentionally did not announce the 2020 show dates in anticipation of the disappointing decision."

The show organizers contacted the Palmer Park Mall in October as a contingency plan, and they are welcoming this event with open arms.

The Palmer Park Mall is located in Easton, PA, at the intersection of Route 248 and Park Avenue, just off route 22/78. It is a single-story mall, with 457,743 square feet of shopping. The Palmer Park Mall is somewhat smaller than the Phillipsburg Mall, so those wishing to be part of the show should enter early. Race cars, tracks, and organizations are all welcome to be part of the show, and vendors are welcome as well. Please contact Event Organizer Justin Beltrame at 484 772 7184 for entry details.

Move-In will take place on Thursday night, March 5, at 9 PM. The show will run all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with cars and displays moving out at 6 PM on March 8.

We do wish to thank the staff and ownership of the Phillipsburg Mall. They were great friends to the show, and we enjoyed a great working relationship, especially with the security team who went out of their way every year to make us feel welcome and accommodate all our needs.

More details will be provided shortly.
